Smart sensor

It’s magic:
the invisible security solution.

Monitor windows and sliding doors securely.

Small but mighty: a smart solution that reliably detects the locking position of the window based on the position of the hardware, without the need for magic powers. But what's so special about it? It is concealed in the frame, so the appearance of the window is completely unaffected. Beside a retrofit solution that can be glued into place, there is also a variant available with screwable support for the frame side installation – perfect for the quick and reliable production of smart-ready elements. And for the flexible supplementation of the matching sensor at the desired time point.

The smart sensor is easy to add to all smart home systems that support the new communication standard. This means that users can easily check the locking position of the window using an app or voice control.

Matter simplifies the compatibility and communication between devices from different producers. This makes it a future-proof communication standard – especially relevant for durable construction elements. Making smart homes as straightforward as possible for everyone: that's the idea behind matter and what drives SIEGENIA when it comes to developing smart products.

Smart monitoring for added security

Status monitoring: anytime, anywhere

For the added reassurance of being able to keep an eye on your windows and sliding doors at all times. A quick check on the app is all it takes to quickly and reliably see whether all the elements in the house are locked or closed – whether you're at home or out and about.

Remote access
You can also monitor the status of your windows at any time using the remote function, even when you're away from home. Smart technology that makes you feel good.

Create your own smart home scenarios

The smart sensor can communicate with Matter-enabled smart home devices from other producers. This means that scenarios can be created via the app and customised to suit your own needs. To save energy, for example: the heating or air-conditioning can be turned down automatically as soon as a window is opened.

  • Control the heating
  • Control the air conditioning
  • Control the lighting

Use and installation

Concealed installation in the window

With its concealed installation in windows with frames made of any material, sliding windows and parallel slide-and-tilt systems, the smart sensor is an aesthetically pleasing security solution that blends in perfectly in any room.

Surface-mounted use on sliding doors.

When surface-mounted on the element, it is ideal for use as a contact sensor for monitoring the entire building envelope: from lift-slide systems to entrance doors, skylights and garage doors, extending to cat flaps.

Control

Here's how it works

Matter
A central control unit that supports both Matter and Thread is required in order for the smart sensor to be used with a smartphone or home controller. To integrate the smart sensor into your smart home, simply scan the Matter code on the device. Once you've done that, it is easy to set up and access from your smart home app.
