Privacy Statement of SIEGENIA-AUBI KG for mobile application
With this mobile application (hereinafter abbreviated to „app“), you can remotely control correspondingly equipped products from SIEGENIA-AUBI KG, in particular door and window drives, ventilation systems and use associated services (e. g. status queries, messaging service, setting up profile etc.).
The following privacy statement refers solely to the use of this app.

2. Transfer of data to third parties
All data collected, processed and stored in this app will solely proceed to SIEGENIA-AUBI KG and will not be transferred to third parties.
In the scope of the automatic device updates, the state-of-the-art versions of the device software will be transmitted to a server. This server will determine whether a newer software is available.
In the scope of the "remote access" function, locally created certificates will be exchanged between the app and the device. An assignment follows on the server. The connection is encrypted end-to-end. The transmitted data are not accessible to SIEGENIA.
In the scope of the „Push notification“ function, a one-off token generated per app will be transmitted to the server in connection with an ID for the message. This transmits both to the relevant Apple or Google server. SIEGENIA cannot assign the token to any user.
3. Installation of the app
This app can be obtained via distribution platforms operated by third parties, so-called app stores (Apple Store res. Google Play or other stores). Your download is dependent on a previous registration with the relevant app store and the installation of an app store software. SIEGENIA-AUBI KG has no influence on the collection, processing and utilisation of personal data in conjunction with your registration with the store and the provision of downloads in the relevant app store and the app store software. The responsible authority is therefore solely the owner of the relevant app store. Please contact the relevant app store provider directly if you require further information.
4. Which data are required to use the app?
We provide information below of which data are collected, processed and stored for this app.
4.1 Set up data
The app required the following set up data to set up a SIEGENIA device:
- Serial number (S-Nr.)
- Identification number (I-Nr.) of the device
4.2 User name
A user name is not generally required to use the app. A user name can only be defined in conjunction with the "user administration" function.
4.3 Password
A password is not generally required to use the app. However, the user password or the administrator password stored in these devices is required for access to the devices.
4.4 Necessary authorisations
Some system authorisations are required to be able to use this app comprehensively. For example, you will be requested once at the begin or also for the use of the relevant function to grant the corresponding access authorisation.
4.5 Network access/ connections
Internet access is required if you use this app in online mode.
5. Data collection as a result of the device registration
This app will be tightly coupled with your end device to protect your data (device registration). The following data will be collected and stored by SIEGENIA-AUBI KG in the course of the device registration:
- Model of the integrated end device
- Serial number(s) of the integrated end device(s)
6. Retention periods and deletion of the utilised data
The data saved in the scope of the device registration will be deleted when you cancel the coupling with your end device via the device registration.
7. Data collection for analytical purposes and fault rectification
No personal data are collected: this means that your personal utilisation behaviour will remain anonymous.
8. Modification or adaptation of the privacy statement
It could be necessary to modify this privacy statement due to the further development of this app or due to the implementation of new technologies. The privacy statement is currently valid. You can find the validity date in the data annotation in this document.
