SIEGENIA combines product development, services and sustainability in a holistic approach

The development of future-oriented products and systems at SIEGENIA is closely intertwined with customised services for all target groups and with processes that protect resources. The company is taking this into account with a holistic view: 360° room comfort expresses the vision that SIEGENIA is focusing on room comfort from all perspectives. "With 360° room comfort we are expressing the holistic nature and sustainability with which our company is assuming responsibility for the topic of room comfort", explained Guy Muller, Head of the Market - Customers Division at SIEGENIA.

Innovative products with great benefits for end users

360° room comfort begins with the fact that the product portfolio of SIEGENIA is geared towards the greatest possible benefits for end users. The company engages in close dialogue with potential end customers via surveys, studies and validations. The knowledge about their requirements flows into the development of new products. In addition, the company analyses the megatrends of the future – also an essential key to successful, innovative product solutions. "Across all megatrends, our focus is on the development of future-proof, sustainable solutions. In this context, 'sustainable', for us, means the development of products and systems of lasting value and with a long service life, which outlast generations", explained Katja Schreiber, Head of Marketing-Communication. This is also proven by the illustrative view on the megatrends of connectivity and mobility: SIEGENIA provides these through networked solutions and functions, which create holistic room comfort applications and intelligent smart home scenarios.

Holistically conceived services

Moreover, 360° room comfort means that SIEGENIA is thinking ahead about customer benefits. The company meets the requirements of its partners with customised services across the entire customer journey. What do prospective developers need as inspiration for their building projects? Which tools support architects during the planning process? How can window manufacturers optimise production processes and consultation discussions? SIEGENIA offers the best possible support with a wide range of training courses and programmes for fabricators, attractive tools for end user consultation or the provision of BIM data for architects and planners. The successful model of the COMFORT UNIT for the ECO PASS threshold, which fabricators can configure via the online shop, underlines the intention to think beyond the product alone. "Via application-specific services, we create added value by means of an excellent experience in the inspiration phase, in the planning process and during fabrication. We are constantly guided by our vision of the application and the experience of room comfort – that is 360° room comfort", stated Guy Muller.

One eye on the environment

With 360° room comfort, the company also formulates its clear intention to create sustainable products, to make careful use of resources and environment and to make an effective contribution to environmental and climate protection. This includes the adoption of a climate protection timetable. For emissions from its own actions as well as from the procured energy (scopes 1 and 2), SIEGENIA has formulated a clear target: achieving climate neutrality in 2028. "When we want to understand 360° room comfort holistically and as an all-round perspective, we must also consequently assume responsibility for how room comfort is created. We do this in the form of defined sustainability targets – that is our second understanding of sustainability. We extend our perspectives beyond the individual's living space out to the living environment of people in general", according to Katja Schreiber.
