Opening restrictor

TITAN 90° opening restrictor: protects the sash, reveal and hinge side

The new TITAN 90° opening restrictor is the first opening restrictor that not only protects the sash and reveal but has also been successfully certified in accordance with the DOEB Directive in connection with the hinge side. It damps the sash, gently stops it in the end position and safely prevents it from slamming closed unintentionally when there is a draught – without compromising on ease of use.

The new TITAN opening restrictor limits the turn-opening to maximum 89 mm. Decoupling based on demand is quickly possible in the comfort version without any problems. The safety version was developed in accordance with EN 13126-5 for special child-safety requirements.

Tilt without wobbling – close without using force.

The new TITAN comfort stay is a mechanism that assists with closing by means of a stored-energy spring that is connected to the frame and the sash profile. This spring is tensioned when the window is tilted, making it possible to close heavy sashes and French doors effortlessly by "discharging" its force. The tilting process itself is even safer and more convenient, too, since the window is permanently prevented from coming to a hard stop or from wobbling. Because a hard stop and teetering of the window are permanently prevented.
