Starting training 2026 at a glance: SIEGENIA is investing in the skilled staff of tomorrow
In the spirit of promoting junior employees and securing skilled staff
Punctually to the start of training on 1. September, SIEGENIA is offering its future skilled staff clearly extended perspectives and opportunities for their professional career. The company has made moves during the last twelve months to achieve this purpose: with investments in the middle six-figure range, the modern training centres have been enhanced and the framework conditions for an innovative training improves again. With the investments, SIEGENIA underlines its commitment to the site Germany and to the future-oriented training of junior employees. The goal is, as a family company, to promote the sustainable securing of the skilled staff of tomorrow and therefore to actively design the future of the company.
Optimised framework conditions in the training centres
The focus of the measures was on the training centres at the headquarters of SIEGENIA in Wilnsdorf-Niederdielfen and at the Velbert site (KFV). With a new 5-axis milling centre and state-of-the-art CNC training, the company has created a site at Wilnsdorf-Niederdielfen for its young professionals where they can obtain their professional qualifications and discover their individual strengths. A new training centre was also set up by SIEGENIA at the Velbert site, that was opened in November 2025. It offers the apprentices a modern combination of trade and digital technologies. Classic turning and milling machines as well as manual workstations, a CNC milling machine and 3D printing technology can be found here on more than 70 square metres.
Hans-Georg Kämpfer, Head of Human Resources, considers the optimisation of the framework conditions for the training as a significant cornerstone of the strategic orientation of SIEGENIA: „Investments in training are not short-term measures for us; they are part of a long-term strategy. Only if we create the right foundations today will we be able to have the qualified skilled staff tomorrow that we need for our future.“ Nina Herter, Head of Personnel Development and Training, emphasises additionally: „We also rely on solid training in these politically and economically challenging times. Our apprentices need modern, practical conditions – and this is exactly what we want to offer them to prepare them optimally for the demands of the industry.“
