"Next Level" Power to Innovate

FENSTERBAU 2026: SIEGENIA Impresses with New Highlights

Dense throngs of visitors in front of the exhibits, animated discussions and enthusiastic feedback about new and time-proven solutions: The SIEGENIA GROUP is looking back on a successful FENSTERBAU 2026. With extensive new developments the company is underscoring its continued willingness to help provide its customers with added value in terms of production and selling technique and to actively help shape the future of the industry. Besides central control for the intelligent control and networking of smart solutions involving the building shell the new ALU XT for elements made of aluminium caused the biggest stir: More than 300 interested parties visited the presentations during the fair; detailed questions about the high processing efficiency of the system were cleared up for many of them in subsequent one-on-one discussions with SIEGENIA. What's more, when the FENSTERBAU FRONTALE Innovation Award was presented, the totally new hardware was distinguished with a "Special Mention" for its outstanding innovative performance.

Under the slogan "Next Level" SIEGENIA presented new dimensions in 360° room comfort across all product groups during the four days of the fair. "To experience the enthusiastic reaction to our new solutions was simply amazing. With the new ALU XT in particular we succeeded in creating quite a stir", reports Guy Muller, Market Customers Management at SIEGENIA. The company was encouraged by fabricators, system providers and even competitors in the course of live presentations at the fair stand – clear feedback on the high innovative potential of this solution.

The SIEGENIA team contributed to the great success of the trade fair appearance too: "If one wants to inspire customers, one has to inspire oneself. We succeeded in doing this at FENSTERBAU – thanks to a fair stand designed with passion, the stirring spirit of our team and thanks to innovations with added value.“ Against the backdrop of the geopolitical situation Guy Muller considers the latter in particular a key factor: "2026 won't be an easy year for the industry. We're challenged all the more to focus on ourselves and the requirements of the market. We sent out a clear signal in this respect with our appearance at FENSTERBAU."

"Central control" highlight: from the vision to the reality

Networking smart solutions from multiple producers, creating intelligent homes and living spaces – SIEGENIA presented a new level of room comfort in the smart home as a concrete implementation of the future scenario of 2024. The possibility of creating comprehensive scenarios without linking to any manufacturer-dependent ecosystems resonated with the visitors to the stand. "From the central locking and unlocking of the entire house to the automated fresh air supply via motor-driven windows to the networking of smart solutions from SIEGENIA involving heating, shading and other components of building automation central control provides fabricators with attractive lines of business", explains Nick Drillich, Product Manager, Smart Home Integration. "This is reflected in the keen interest of fabricators and dealers to integrate smart systems into their own home exhibits as well."

Next Level aluminium: the ALU XT hardware system

The ALU XT also drew a lot of attention. The innovative hardware system captured the imagination of customers and interested parties with its intuitive time and cost saving installation technology. With its help it's possible to reduce the production of elements made of aluminium by up to 40%. Artur Boger, ALU Product Manager, is delighted with the exciting start: "The response was positive in every respect. The ease of inserting the operating rods and the application of additional locking points ensured special recognition." The experienced industry professionals were subsequently impressed by the live presentations in particular. It was said that there'd be no getting around this hardware at the fair. Not least, the trade press expressed themselves impressed: The advantages of the ALU XT are second to none. The ALU XT is also at the next level in terms of sustainability. Measured against generic EPDs it has 70% better CO2 values.

PORTAL HS – new freedom of action in upmarket residential developments

Keen interest prevailed in the PORTAL product range. Among other things, SIEGENIA was exhibiting here the concealed motorised drive DRIVE axxent LS for lift-slide elements for the first time in a smart variant. "Apart from maximising its ease of use it's also a valuable addition to the central control portfolio. With its help fabricators are able to meet the requirements of upscale residential construction even better than before", Christoph Scheuring, PORTAL Product Manager, describes. "The new GRP threshold met with a positive response in this regard too. Many visitors to the stand pointed out with praise that especially among design aspects the possibility of realising the threshold in on-trend black is extremely appealing."

Cutting-edge solutions for doors in the spotlight

The KFV product group brought cutting-edge "Next Level" solutions with added value for fabricators and end users into the limelight at this year's FENSTERBAU. Smart technologies and state-of-the-art security concepts were the focus of interest. The new sensor door handle proved to be a real crowd pleaser. "With its puristic design and its intuitive operating concept it's geared toward the requirements of a smart home and technophilic, design-oriented target group“, explains Yazid Tajaoui of KFV Application Technology. The response to the innovative concept for the entry door of the future was outstanding. KFV set the tone in the mechanical security sector especially with the new BS 3704 automatic multi-point locking system. "Its high quality security concept with four auxiliary lock cases, its ease of use and optional extension correspond perfectly with current market trends."

Ideal for public buildings: TITAN axxent 180°

The TITAN product group made an appearance too with powerful innovations. Besides the TITAN timber system and the TITAN 90° opening restrictor which was shown at the trade fair for the first time in a variant for elements made of wood the new TITAN axxent 180° concealed hinge side was there under the spotlight. Its narrow frame width mates the hinge side with appealing value-added benefits. "Especially with fabricators whose main focus is commercial construction as with visitors from abroad the interest was clearly huge. Thanks to its maximum opening width of 180° it enables the sash to open up completely. This makes it ideal for large glass fronts that rely on a combination of fixed glazing and operable sashes. This applies especially to public buildings like schools where it eliminates potential safety hazards and lends itself as a valuable alternative to sliding hardwares", Alexander Maier, TITAN Product Manager, describes. This was extremely well received by customers and interested parties.
