SIEGENIA honouring outstanding results

Junior staff distinguished for their excellent performances

The SIEGENIA GROUP is once again delighted about two strong years of final results: a total of 26 apprentices passed their exams in Summer 2025 and Winter 2026. Furthermore, 13 employees were able to complete further professional training or a sandwich degree programme - whether this was technical specialist, state certified technician or an academic degree. In the scope of two events, the company acknowledged the performances of its junior staff: the congratulation event for the former apprentices took place on 26. February; the honouring of the graduates took place on 11. March. In a special highlight of the event, each of the young professionals received a personal congratulatory message from the Group's managing partner Wieland Frank. The major significance of this milestone was also highlighted by the presence of the members of SIEGENIA's management board with responsibility for each of its specialist divisions.

Starting at SIEGENIA as a professional

Delightful from the view of SIEGENIA is also the fact that the 26 apprentices are continuing their professional career in the company. The majority of them are starting immediately as specialist in the departments corresponding to their training. Seven of the former apprentices have decided to combine their practical expertise in the company with academic further qualification and will be participating additionally in a sandwich degree course. The year also set accents for the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK): no fewer than five former apprentices were invited to the IHK event to honour the best apprentices. In the IHK regions of the sites Wilnsdorf, Velbert and Hermeskeil, they rank among the highest-performance graduates and successful apprentices of their professions.

Promotion of junior staff on personal and professional level

The successful training and further training results are once again evidence of the high importance that SIEGENIA places on training , qualification and internal promotion of talent for the sustainable securing of profession competence in the company. The 13 graduates from the further training and graduate courses also stand for the consistent qualification within the corporate group. "At SIEGENIA it is an important concern for us to systematically promote the specialist and personal development of our staff by means of different training results as well as sandwich degree courses. The outstanding results stand symbolically for the dedication, determination and the high demand that SIEGENIA places on the development of its staff" stated Nina Herter, Head of Personnel Development at SIEGENIA. "Our goal is to accompany our staff on a long-term basis – from the apprenticeship though the first specialist position to advanced qualifications.“
