Positive response to the benefits of the new AEROMAT VT

SIEGENIA draws encouragement from their presence at SHK 2022. From 6th to 9th September the manufacturers of window, door and comfort systems obtained comprehensive information about their extensive ventilation technology portfolio in Essen. Stephan Stoll, Head of Sales AERO/E-Commerce at SIEGENIA was very satisfied with the progress of the SHK trade fair: "we consider both the high number of visitors to our stand and the quality of the conversations as extremely positive. The demand for intensive exchange and getting to know new solutions personally was clearly detectable and was reflected in the conversations. The main topic at the SIEGENIA stand was controlled ventilation with heat recovery, with an equally positive response to the new generation of our AEROMAT VT WRG facade vent unit as well as to the AEROVITAL ambience and AEROTUBE WRG smart wall-mounted ventilators. The interest in innovative solutions with sensors, e. g. the integrated CO2-regulation for the AEROTUBE, was really great."

Uniform appearance – maximum energy efficiency on request

The further development of the AEROMAT VT also attracted a lot of attention at SHK, where it was seen for the first time. The facade ventilator from SIEGENIA is available in different versions that can be flexibly combined within a building – as passive vent, as a supply air or exhaust air device and in two different variants with heat recovery. Thanks to its universal casing platform, it combines the fulfillment of different ventilation requirements inside a building with a uniform, appealing appearance. "Moreover, fabricators and architects highlighted the extensive configuration options and the optimised installation", reported Stephan Stoll. "Whereas building planners particularly emphasised the improved sound absorption properties and the eligibility due to the high heat recovery and the efficient, demand-based mode of operation." SIEGENIA is responding to the increasing awareness of climate protection and sustainability with the new energy-efficient ventilator variants AEROMAT VT WRG and AEROMAT VT WRG plus. A recent study, carried out on behalf of the Federal Association for Home Ventilation (VfW), showed that these measures would significantly reduce the heating load of a building.

AEROPAC and AEROTUBE: healthy indoor environment due to CO2-regulation

The trade fair visitors to the SIEGENIA stand also expressed a strong interest in the wall-mounted ventilators with integrated CO2-regulation; the AEROPAC IE smart, the AEROTUBE WRG smart and the AEROTUBE AZ smart. The AEROPAC IE smart, a new version of the tried and tested sound absorbing ventilator, was presented for the first time at the SHK Essen. It combines efficient sound absorption up to 58 dB with an extremely quiet mode of operation. On the theme of air quality and to the great interest of architects, fabricators and end users, it is now also available with CO2-regulation, thus providing a healthy indoor environment more efficiently than previously.

Interest also focused on the two variants of the AEROTUBE with integrated CO2-regulation. There was a good response to the showing of the CO2-content through a traffic-light display via the SIEGENIA Comfort app. Moreover, the visitors to the stand used the opportunity to obtain information about the AEROVITAL ambience wall-mounted vent unit – which could also be seen in the ceiling installation version –, the roller shutter vent portfolio as well as the AEROMAT mini window vent and the AEROMAT flex facade vent unit.
