Our comprehensive KFV Panic programme offers you tried and tested, flexible and efficient solutions for fire rated doors as well as emergency exits and panic locks, which are distinguished by their maximum functional safety and their intuitive operation. Because in an emergency, every second counts. So that no time is lost in the fabrication, our multi-point locks, for all escape door functions, are always based on the same main lock families and on auxiliary lock cases with identical dimensions. The DIN direction and the direction of escape can be simply adjusted at any time via the latch.

Locking functions

These functions can be achieved with our panic locks.

Mortise locks and multi-point locks for escape doors can generally be opened in the direction of escape without a key, even when they are locked. The options for opening the door against the direction of escape vary depending on the panic function.

  • The door can only be opened against the direction of escape using the lever handle after it has been unlocked with the key
  • After using the escape function, access against the direction of escape is blocked again once the door closes and it is not possible to go back into the building
